Ferguson is currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our Beltsville, MD team! This role leads our Blended business operations, ensuring we maintain our reputation for extraordinary service and operational integrity. The positon will report to the Market Branch Manager.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Participates in the strategic development and execution of the retail store business model and strategy in order to produce profitable growth and strong cash flow performance.

Contributes to sales forecasting, financial budgeting and expenditure management to achieve company budget objectives.

Supports the development of strong sales and management teams, implementing recruitment, training and mentoring programs that result in a capable and motivated workforce.

Follows mechanisms that drive the identification of opportunities for new market or business segment opportunities, or to enhance profit margin enhancement and accelerating top-line revenue growth.

Performs the analysis of market trends and stored data to assist in sales/promotions for present and future business.

Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements

Regular and reliable attendance

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

3-5 years of industry related experience

Ability to apply knowledge and skills with understanding of external environment factors.

Experience providing expert advice, coaching and counseling within field/function area.

Exceptional ability to organize and prioritize work.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to groups at multiple levels of the organization (associates, branch leaders, GMs, etc).

Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).

Ability to effectively use Ferguson's inventory and logistics system (Trilogie).

Outstanding organizational and leadership skills to effectively respond to urgent situations

Pay Range:

$4,743.90 - $10,436.80

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
