Pharmacy Technician

State TN License Mandatory| with 1 year of exp| Mid shift 11:00am to 9:30pm|Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for filling prescription vials accurately and efficiently. You will use computer systems to locate and verify merchandise, stock automated dispensing cells with medications, and perform basic math to ensure correct prescription counts. Additionally, you will scan barcodes to manage inventory, identify and escalate issues when necessary, and maintain cleanliness and organization on the pharmacy floor. Adhering to HIPAA regulations and pharmacy protocols is essential, as is preparing orders for shipping with attention to detail. You will also uphold our ICARE Principles: Integrity, Customer-first, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

Fill prescription vials accurately and efficiently.

Use computer systems to locate and verify merchandise.

Stock automated dispensing cells with medications.

Perform basic math to ensure correct prescription counts.

Scan barcodes to manage inventory.

Identify and escalate issues when necessary.

Maintain cleanliness and organization on the pharmacy floor.

Follow HIPAA regulations and pharmacy protocols.

Prepare orders for shipping with attention to detail.

Uphold ICARE Principles: Integrity, Customer-first, Accountability, Respect, Excellence.

Essential Skills

Pharmacy technician license.

TN Pharmacy Tech License.

Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician certificate.

Experience in fulfillment and retail pharmacy.

Work Environment

This position is based in a state-of-the-art warehouse fulfillment environment, where some functions are automated. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 am to 9:30 pm. The work environment is dynamic with limited downtime, providing an excellent opportunity to grow professionally. This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
