We are looking for a highly organized Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant to provide dedicated support to attorneys in a law firm based in Maynard, MA. This role involves assisting with general practice matters, particularly civil litigation, while ensuring the smooth operation of a fast-paced office environment.

Location: Maynard, MA

Schedule: Fully In-Office

Hours: 9am - 5pm OR 8am - 4pm

Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and clerical support to two attorneys.

Prepare, @type, and format legal documents and correspondence.

Edit and complete PDF forms accurately.

Manage email correspondence and electronic communications.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.

Maintain and organize client files (electronic and paper).

Assist with general office tasks as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word

Experience editing and managing PDF documents

Strong typing and document formatting skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload

Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment preferred
