Job Summary and Qualifications

The OR Supply Chain Technician is responsible for requisitioning and promptly putting away all supplies within the OR, reviewing and maintaining all Min/Max inventory levels, picking scheduled surgical cases, as well as emergency supply requests. The OR Supply Chain Technician is also responsible for conducting physical inventories of all POU areas according to the defined schedule. In this role:

You will receive, deliver, and put-away of all OR and OR related supplies in an accurate and timely manner, perform QA checks on warehouse totes and non-stock receipts per approved policy.

You will pick both scheduled and emergent surgical cases.

You are authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position.

You will assist in performing inventory management for the OR and related areas.

You will evaluate the appropriate Min/Max levels for storeroom stock daily and places orders appropriately.

You will count PAR level areas including POU areas according to schedule.

You will assist in cycle counts per the approved policy.

Qualifications:

Graduate from high school or equivalent required

Previous stock clerk experience preferred

Some hospital supply experience preferred
