The Nursing program seeks a candidate to serve as a full-time faculty member starting in Fall 2026. The department offers online undergraduate and graduate nursing programs that prepare students for professional nursing practice, leadership roles, and advanced study. Our programs emphasize evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, health equity, interprofessional collaboration, and excellence in online nursing education.

The general responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Teaching asynchronous online courses in the discipline. Curriculum development Engagement in accreditation preparation, self-study, and continuous improvement activities. Graduate advisement and support of students. Participation in committees and other governance structures. Performance of administrative, supervisory, and other functions such as orientation(s), program and department faculty meetings, graduation ceremonies, and other programmatic activities.

NOTE:

The Clinical Professor title is a full-time, non-tenure-bearing faculty title. An individual in the title of Clinical Professor is eligible for annual reappointment but may not serve in the title for more than a total of seven (7) years Until further notice, this is a hybrid position, eligible to work remotely and work in the office.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must demonstrate the academic credentials, professional licensure, and teaching experience required to contribute effectively to nursing education at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.

Earned doctorate (PhD, DNP, EdD, or equivalent) in Nursing Active, unencumbered RN license (New York State or eligibility for New York licensure); Demonstrated ability to teach successfully at the college level; Demonstrated record of achievement in the Nursing profession in a clinical setting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with online learning in higher education Teaching, advising, and mentoring experience Experience in developing academic curriculum Superior written and oral communication skills Commitment to campus values of equity, diversity, and inclusion

COMPENSATION

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience between $98,231 - $113,745.
