Join a supportive, student-focused Extended School Year (ESY) program and make a meaningful impact over six weeks of specialized services. We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapy to students from early childhood through 12th grade. Caseloads feature low ratios, allowing you to provide attentive, individualized care in a collaborative school environment.
Position Overview
The Physical Therapist will perform student evaluations and deliver therapy in alignment with individualized plans of care and, when applicable, physician's orders. This role is ideal for a PT who values purposeful work, predictable scheduling, and opportunities to support students' functional mobility and school participation during the summer term.
Schedule and Structure
ESY runs Monday through Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
First and last program day run from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Six-week assignment beginning June 15, 2026
Key Responsibilities
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students across grade levels
Provide individualized therapy services based on each student's plan of care
Document all therapy activities thoroughly and in compliance with program and regulatory standards
Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to support student outcomes
Uphold all relevant professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
Minimum Requirements
Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of practice
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
One year of prior professional PT experience preferred
Compliance with all current professional standards of practice
Current CPR certification, if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable
Current health certificate per state or contract requirements
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
