Job Purpose:

Provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. This role includes controlling expenses by processing, verifying and reconciling Rail Freight Invoices in a timely, accurate and efficient manner according to established policies and procedures.

Education / Training:

HSD Required;

Skill Level II - 2-5 years of experience or Specific Experience or Bachelor Degree.

Key Job Elements:

Perform data entry of Rail Freight invoices in an accurate and timely manner;

Process all invoices received tin a timely manner utilizing basic problem-solving skills;

Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate record keeping and problem solve any issues;

Ensure compliance with departmental standards (processing/ scanning goals);

Follow established Accounting policies & procedures;

Ensure data entry is up to date in order to meet month end deadlines;

Balancing Time/Labor Cards or Factory Track Reports to match Payroll;

Bill Truck Freight to class I RR's;

Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned;

Support the efforts of the Logistics Manager to achieve corporate/departmental goals and objectives;

Run a variety of reports to analyze data;

Audit Truckload Invoices in XM.

Qualifications and Experience:

Detail oriented / sense of urgency / follow-through;

Ability to multi-task, work independently and efficiently;

Proven interpersonal and communication skills;

Ability to communicate/deal with various vendors as required;

Adapt to frequent changes in workload & priority as circumstances dictate
