As a Security Officer - Driver Industrial Patrol in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control, and assist residents and guests with courteous communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify appropriate personnel as required by post orders.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols of residential common areas, amenities, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, directing visitor parking and/or deliveries, and maintaining a professional presence.

Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, document unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
