Oversee daily profit and loss (P&L) production, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Analyze and explain P&L movements through market drivers (price, volatility, curve, FX movements, etc.). Work closely with traders and risk managers to attribute P&L to specific risk factors or trading strategies. Ensure that the desk positions (swaps, options, futures, structured products, etc.) are fairly valued in accordance with accounting and regulatory standards. Manage independent price verification (IPV) processes and challenge trader marks. Oversee balance sheet substantiation and ensure proper reconciliation between front office and general ledger systems. Monitor valuation adjustments (CVA, DVA, FVA, LVA, etc.) and ensure methodologies are consistently applied. Collaborate with Market Risk, Trading Risk & Control, and Data Management teams to ensure accurate risk capture and reporting. Maintain a robust control environment - identify control gaps, implement remediation, and ensure compliance with internal audit standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., SEC, Basel III, Volcker, US GAAP, etc.). Participate in model validation and governance reviews related to derivative valuation models. Present P&L and valuation commentary to senior management and desk heads.Hybrid remote work permitted.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus 8 years of progressively responsible experience. Special Skills: Bloomberg, Refinitiv/Reuters Eikon; Advanced Microsoft Excel; P&L attribution and reconciliation; experience working with internal or external audits; Independent price verification; risk sensitivities and P&L attribution. The required skill set does not need to be maintained over the full term of the required experience.Salary range: $148,354/year to $153,000/year.
