BayCare is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Outpatient Physical Therapis t to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children achieve their highest level of physical function and independence.

Pediatric Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on age, diagnosis, and functional goals.

Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and overall physical development.

Educate and collaborate with families and caregivers to support patient progress and carryover of therapy goals at home.

Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate care with occupational therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and other members of the care team.

Participate in continuing education and maintain licensure and certifications as required.

Maintain a safe and welcoming clinical environment for children and families.

Certifications and Licensures :

Required BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required PT (Physical Therapy)

Or PT (Physical Therapy) Eligible to obtain

Or PT (Physical Therapy) Temporary and licensure within 6 months

Requirements:

Required Bachelor's Physical Therapy

Preferred Master's Physical Therapy

Preferred Doctorate's Physical Therapy

Preferred 1 year Physical Therapist

BayCare Health System, Rehab Pediatrics-SFBH

Location: South Florida Baptist Med Arts Building Walden, Plant City - FL

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 8-5pm M-Th, 8-12pm F/Days

Weekend Work: None

On Call: No
