About this Job
This position is for a full-time 12 month, unclassified, in-person staff position located on-site at our Bossier Campus.
Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, social media marketing or related discipline from an accredited educational organization required or 5+ years of experience creating and generating media for organizations.
Effectively use technology and computer software programs with proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Experience with content management systems (Cascade, WordPress, SchoolNow, etc.).
Understanding of social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social).
Familiarity with basic ADA digital accessibility standards (alt text, accessible PDFs, contrast, readability).
Excellent attention to detail; strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently, take direction, and follow brand standards.
Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with college faculty/staff.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in higher education marketing or non-profit communications.
Photography or videography skills.
Experience with HelpDesk or ticketing systems.
Experience creating motion graphics or simple edits for social media.
Job Specification
The Marketing Production Coordinator is responsible for developing, managing, and publishing engaging digital content that supports college-wide branding, enrollment, communications, and outreach efforts, with a primary focus on social media strategy and execution. This role provides critical content development and production support to the Marketing & Communications team by managing social media channels, creating multimedia content, assisting with website updates, coordinating marketing workflow, and ensuring timely, accurate execution of marketing deliverables.
The coordinator enhances departmental efficiency by reducing bottlenecks, supporting ADA-compliant content publishing, and ensuring projects move through the production pipeline smoothly.
Job Duties and Other Information
Social Media Strategy & Content Development (45%)
Develop, draft, schedule, and publish content for official college social media channels using Sprout Social.
Collaborate with campus departments to identify and develop engaging content opportunities, including student success stories, campus events, academic programs, and institutional initiatives.
Monitor social media engagement and assist in responding to comments, messages, and community interactions as assigned.
Track and analyze performance metrics to support content optimization and audience growth.
Maintain and manage the institutional social media content calendar, coordinating with Athletics, Student Life, and academic departments.
Capture and produce basic photo, video, and short-form multimedia content for social platforms.
Project Intake & Workflow Coordination (25%)
Manage the intake process for all marketing requests; ensure requests include complete content before work begins.
Assign or route tasks to appropriate team members based on workload and priority.
Maintain tracking logs and deadlines to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Communicate with requestors regarding missing content, clarifications, and timelines.
Digital & Web Content Support (15%)
Update website content, including text, photos, PDFs, and graphics.
Assist with implementing ADA-compliant changes, such as alt text, accessible PDFs, and readability adjustments.
Serve as backup for webmaster on routine updates and content maintenance.
Support content cleanup and document retirement workflows.
Graphic Production & Content Adaptation (15%)
Revise, format, and adapt existing graphics for various platforms.
Prepare print-ready files for vendors as needed.
Review and proof content for grammar, consistency, and alignment with institutional messaging and brand standards.
