Job Description

We are seeking a Data Scientist to support consumer and member analytics initiatives, with a strong focus on healthcare-related data. This role partners closely with marketing, business, and analytics stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling stories.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, brings curiosity and passion for data science, and can independently drive problem-solving from concept to solution.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover insights related to consumer and member behavior.

Build and apply statistical models to support business and marketing decisions.

Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions.

Develop clear, compelling narratives and visualizations that communicate insights to non-technical audiences.

Work with disparate data sources and identify meaningful connections across them.

Lead or contribute to working sessions, brainstorming, and solution design.

Operate independently with minimal hand-holding while collaborating effectively with the team.

Skills and Requirements

5-8 years of total professional experience, with meaningful hands-on data science work.

Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.

Experience working with real-world, messy data and ambiguous problem statements.

Demonstrated ability to communicate insights and tell stories with data.

Comfortable working in "gray areas" and figuring out solutions without predefined answers. - Background in healthcare, health insurance, or PBMs.

Experience with consumer or customer data analytics.

Familiarity with CX or survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Medallia).

Experience modeling consumer or member behavior (retail experience a plus).

Experience with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred; others acceptable).

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science or a closely related field.
