Job Overview We are seeking a results-driven Steel/Fabrication Sales professional to join our growing team. Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new markets and expand existing accounts within the steel and fabrication industry.

Conduct proactive outside sales efforts through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to generate leads and build a robust pipeline.

Manage territory sales activities effectively, ensuring consistent coverage and customer engagement across assigned regions.

Present product demonstrations and technical solutions tailored to client needs, highlighting the benefits of our steel products and fabrication services.

Build strong relationships with customers through exceptional account management, understanding their requirements, and providing ongoing support.

Utilize CRM software such as HubSpot to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze market trends for strategic decision-making.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while maintaining a focus on customer service excellence and upselling opportunities.

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive demand for our products.

Lead management efforts by identifying potential clients through lead generation strategies and converting prospects into loyal customers.

Provide feedback from the field to product development teams to improve offerings based on customer needs and industry trends.

Experience

Proven success in outside sales or business development within the steel, fabrication, or related industrial sectors.

Strong background in sales with experience managing large accounts and developing new business opportunities.

Familiarity with CRM software or equivalent tools for sales tracking and analysis.

Demonstrated ability in territory management, lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales approaches.

Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer-focused mindset to ensure satisfaction while achieving sales targets.

Knowledge of technical sales processes including product demos, upselling techniques, and solution-based selling strategies.

Experience in managing multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining high levels of customer service.

Strong communication skills combined with analysis capabilities to interpret market data and identify growth opportunities.
