Controller - Manufacturing:

Controller experience in a manufacturing environment - is required!

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance - is required!

Minimum of 10 years' in an accounting position - is required!

CPA preferred

Location: Schofield, WI

Job Type: Full-Time

Remote: No, on-site

Salary: Commensurate with experience: $120K to $160K, plus benefits

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, 401K and PTO

Relocation: Potential relocation available

Must Have/Required: Bachelor's degree, or higher, in accounting or finance

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Controller is responsible for all general ledger accounting functions, budgeting and forecasting, oversight of capital expenditures and risk management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for ensuring cash, invoicing, budget vs actual, and payroll reporting is completed as required

Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes

Provide oversight of capital expenditures

Provide oversight, completion and reporting of cash collections, including credit authorization

Responsible for cash flow reporting

Responsible for oversight and completion of month end reporting

Responsible for financial reporting

Responsible for oversight of A/R and A/P processing

Perform year-end preparation and processing for annual financial audit and R&D tax credit

Responsible for weekly/monthly/annual reporting and information processing for management reports

Provide oversight and maintenance of internal controls

Responsible for risk management

Attend and actively participate in meetings as required

MARGINAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with other various accounting and office functions as required including direct reports oversight

SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITIES:

Provide direct supervision for Accountant I position - 3 to 4 accountants

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Minimum of 10 years' experience in an accounting position - Manufacturing Accounting preferred

Experience with cost accounting, financial reporting, depreciation schedules, and internal controls

Manufacturing knowledge and experience required

CPA preferred

Risk management experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Strong knowledge of accounting processes

Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills

Strong planning and organizational skills

High level of integrity

Critical thinking skills

Self-directed, independent and goal-oriented

Ability to proficiently handle multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent problem-solving skills

BENEFITS:

Full time employees regularly scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits. Benefits are available the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
