Description

Robert Half is seeking a temporary volunteer coordinator for our non-profit client located in Orinda, CA! This position entails coordinating scheduling, communication, and support for 170+ active volunteers. You'll ensure all volunteer shifts are filled, volunteers receive timely updates via email and text, and high levels of customer service are maintained.

Responsibilities:

Manage and update volunteer schedules in Salesforce, ensuring shifts are always staffed

Monitor and respond to volunteer emails and text messages promptly

Address changes, fill openings, and maintain smooth scheduling operations

Support volunteers with excellent customer service and clear communication

Perform general office duties, including organization, filing, and related tasks

Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication

Professionalism and empathy

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative assistance or volunteer coordination.
