Schedule: Full Time | Evening Phase I and Phase II rotating shifts Monday-Friday; 3x12 hour shifts,

8am-8:30pm, 9am-9:30pm, 10am-10:30pm. On call requirments.

How you'll make an impact in this role

Provide direct patient care as a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse (PACU RN), monitoring anesthetized patients during immediate recovery after surgery or procedural sedation.

Evaluate patient responses to anesthesia, medications, and interventions, adjusting care plans to support recovery outcomes and high-quality PACU Registered Nurse patient care.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate post-procedural care and ensure safe patient transitions from PACU to next level of care.

Implement infection prevention and sterile practice standards aligned with AORN and ASPAN guidelines to maintain patient safety and support quality improvement in peri-anesthesia care.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following required:

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

BSN

Perianesthesia RN experience followed by ICU/ER RN experience
