We're looking for a Housing Finance Specialist 1,2 or 3 to join our team. If you are knowledgeable of MS Office and are proficient in writing, analyzing financial reports, and interpreting policies, this may be a great opportunity for you.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in housing finance or compliance programs, housing management, or administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Implement and coordinate eligible activities necessitated by CDBG federal requirements, which are specific to the State's Disaster Recovery Action Plan and its Amendments for all flood-related rental programs.
Perform program management duties for ongoing housing programs, such as monitoring of the program operations to satisfy any state and federal regulations in relation to CDGB-DR.
Monitor end dates for expenditures deadlines for activities for each of the standing hurricanes, and communicate on a weekly/bi-weekly, monthly basis.
Report data on a monthly and quarterly basis and OCD that reflects the milestones set forth in the programs and the Action Plan.
Execute monitoring systems to focus on compliance review in accordance with the specific program requirement.
Initiate budget amendments, budget transfers, application amendments, and close out.
Maintain current files both electronically and physically in order to efficiently implement and close out programs that have been expended.
