The Finance Manager serves as the financial leader supporting the Airport Services business unit, including Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contracts and Technical Services project work (baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges). This role provides strategic financial leadership, ensures compliance with corporate accounting policies and GAAP, and partners closely with Operations to drive contract profitability, manage risk, and support domestic and international growth initiatives. The primary objective of this role is to provide full financial oversight of contract and project-based business activities while ensuring strong internal controls and accurate financial reporting.

YOUR IMPACT

Partner with Airport Services leadership to support P&L performance, operational decision-making, and long-term strategic planning.
Lead financial oversight of fixed-price, cost-plus, and hybrid O&M contracts, including revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and applicable GAAP standards.
Monitor contract profitability, margin performance, change orders, claims, escalation clauses, and financial risk exposure.
Provide financial modeling, cost estimates, pricing analysis, and risk assessment support for new bids, renewals, and contract negotiations. Participate in bid reviews for those that require Senior Management approval.
Oversee financial management of technical services projects, including design, installation, refurbishment, and commissioning activities.
Ensure accurate project cost tracking, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, percentage-of-completion accounting, and forecast-to-complete analysis.
Partner with Project Managers and Operations leaders to identify cost improvement opportunities and mitigate margin risk.
Support the monthly close process for Airport Services including but not limited to providing accruals for judgmental items, reviewing project cost, revenue and margins, reviewing financial statements and providing variance analysis to budget and forecasts.
Support the monthly forecast and annual budgeting and long range financial planning efforts for Airport Services.
Ensure free cash flow and working capital targets are achieved. Ensure customer invoices are prepared timely and accurately and work with Site Managers to ensure receivables are collected from customers within agreed upon payment terms.
Working with the AeroTech Director of Finance, ensure internal controls are in place in accordance with the Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures (CAPP) manual. Periodically review and update process documentation as necessary.
Provide oversight of international operations, including multi-entity and multi-currency environments, coordination on statutory compliance, and collaboration with Corporate Tax and Treasury on cross-border matters.
Assess and monitor financial risks related to performance guarantees, service level agreements (SLAs), liquidated damages, and other contractual obligations.
Lead and develop finance team members in alignment with Oshkosh's "People First" competencies; recruit, coach, and retain top talent.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Continuous Improvement Management System (CIMS) tools and standard practices to enhance financial processes and reporting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Strong knowledge of GAAP including revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
One (1) or more years of managerial/supervisory experience.
Ability to travel ~10%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
CPA or MBA preferred
Experience supporting long-term service contracts, infrastructure projects or industrial/technical services businesses.
Demonstrated experience with percentage of completion accounting and project cost management.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting and pricing analysis capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:
$103,300.00 - $177,700.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
