Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a first shift at a metal processing company. The role involves assisting with preventative maintenance, proactively fixing equipment, performing mechanical maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting to ensure minimal equipment downtime.

Responsibilities

Assist with preventative maintenance of equipment.

Proactively fix equipment and perform mechanical maintenance tasks.

Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns.

Ensure minimal downtime for equipment.

Work with equipment such as 2 slitters and 5 leveling lines.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial maintenance.

Knowledge in mechanical maintenance and service.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

Experience with troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Technical degree (nice to have).

Experience in a metal processing environment (preferred).

Work Environment

Work Monday through Friday on the first shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM in a metal processing facility. The environment is focused on safety and efficiency, ensuring you have the tools and support necessary to perform effectively.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.28 - $30.28/hr.
