In this position...
Ford is looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our Consumer Marketing team. You will aid the Director of Retail Marketing Communications and will be the principal liaison between the Global Dealer Engagement and Ford Philanthropy teams in developing communications and assets for our dealers and T2 ad groups to use in support of these initiatives. Additionally, you will assist the Retail Communications Manager in liaising with the C&I team to ensure our messaging during our national sales event campaigns are aligned. You will be responsible for translating "Ford Building Together" brand moments into actionable marketing campaigns, managing cross-functional communications with agency partners, and ensuring our retail sales events are supported by clear, accurate incentive messaging.
The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who can navigate complex organizational structures, provide clear direction to an agency team and turn high-level concepts into impactful consumer-facing assets.
This role is hybrid and requires at least 4 days per week onsite in Dearborn, MI.
What you'll do...
Campaign Development: Support the GDE organization by translating "Ford Building Together" initiatives into integrated, cross-tier marketing campaigns for T2/T3, including an annual national Building Together Dealer campaign in June.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Lead communication efforts between Global Dealer Engagement, Ford Philanthropy, Media Communications, Global Media & Partnerships, and our agency partners (WPP) to ensure all marketing communications align with Ford Brand & GDE priorities.
Campaign Management: Spearhead the creation of briefs and Go-To-Market (GTM) execution for key annual pulses, specifically the June Community Impact and September Global Month of Caring campaigns.
Asset Creation: Collaborate with agency partners to develop ad hoc Tier 3 (T3) digital assets and Point of Purchase (POP) materials for smaller-scale or dealer-requested brand moments.
Go-To-Market Coordination : Assist with Go-To-Market efforts for consumer sales events and high-visibility incentives that require dedicated paid media support.
Incentive Messaging: Partner with C&I (Commissions & Incentives) coordinators to capture complex program data and translate it into clear, compelling consumer offer messaging.
Agency Enablement: Organize and streamline incentive information for agency partners, ensuring they can easily digest data to create Tier 1 through Tier 3 marketing assets.
You'll have...
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or project management.
Familiarity with the agency/client relationship model is highly preferred.
Even better, you may have...
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain organized workflows.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to "translate" technical incentive data into consumer-friendly language.
Extreme attention to detail is required for managing incentive accuracy and campaign brief requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data organization).
Must possess the ability to distill complex, technical information (like incentive programs) into simple, persuasive consumer messaging. You should be equally comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders as you are collaborating with creative agency teams.
Ability to build relationships across different tiers of the organization and with external partners.
A "self-starter" mentality with the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift based on market needs.
