As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents while providing clear communication and customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hospital location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification of hospital staff and/or public emergency services as directed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including interior corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by post.

Control access to restricted areas by monitoring doors and visitor flow, assisting with wayfinding, and documenting unusual activity according to site requirements.

Complete detailed reports of incidents, patrol activity, and other security-related observations, and communicate information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years' armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
