As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service. You will communicate clearly with shoppers, staff, and law enforcement while delivering customer-focused service. This role requires a valid in-state driver's license and an armed guard card or license, supported by a caring, integrity-driven team.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales floor areas, entrances, cart corrals, parking lots, and perimeter areas; working conditions may vary by site.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer disturbances, suspected theft activity, and/or medical emergencies, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or management as needed.

Control access to restricted areas such as receiving, stockrooms, and/or cash office areas when assigned, and monitor for policy violations and unusual activity.

Complete security-related reports and incident documentation, preserve observations and evidence when appropriate, and maintain required armed post equipment and qualifications per Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

An armed guard card and/or license is required.

Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
