Industrial Maintenance Technician - up to $34/hr HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician, as part of a team, conducts, maintains, tests, and repairs mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. The position applies knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. The maintenance technician provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.

Install, start up, and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.

Advise operators of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.

Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance functions.

Communicate with Maintenance Safety Supervisor.

Ensure that all production equipment is maintained and running.

Prior experience with measuring tools is a plus

Work Environment, shift & pay

This role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility.

You will work on the 3rd shift from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Pay starts from $30/hr and goes up to $34/hr

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
