As a Security Officer - Gate Access Monitor in Memphis, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where access control is key. You will greet drivers, employees, and visitors, verify credentials, manage check-in and badge processes, monitor cameras and alarms, and complete routine patrols and reports that help to reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, checking credentials, issuing visitor access as directed, and maintaining access control logs and/or reports.

Monitor inbound and outbound truck and employee traffic, verify scheduled deliveries and pickups as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, warehouse areas, yards, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
