Our client is seeking a mechanical designer for a temp to perm opportunity in canton, GA. Those with 3+ years current CAD Design experience is required. Great company with over 50 years of custom fabrication and engineering serving clients around the U.S.

The ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements or experience:

3 years minimum experience in part/assembly design and drafting, preferably for transportation, mobile, outdoor power equipment, or similar field.

Associates degree in CADD/drafting/design or mechanical engineering technology or related field. Equivalent job experience will be considered if applicable.

Ability to read and interpret design drawings.

Experience with metal fabrication processes.

Experience in bill of material creation and maintenance. PDM or ERP a plus

Must be proficient with AutoCad 2D CAD software.

Must be experienced and comfortable working with other Windows based PC software packages such as Excel and Word.

Must be a self-motivated individual able to work as part of a team effort.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced production driven build-to-order environment.
