As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Rochester, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor badging. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide strong customer service while using a computer or tablet as needed. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and access control requirements at an aerospace and defense location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.

Monitor entry points and restricted areas by checking identification and/or badges, processing visitors and deliveries per site policy, and documenting entries in required logs.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.

Complete detailed reports on patrol findings, incidents, and policy violations, and support investigations by preserving observations and submitting timely documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a New York State Security Guard License.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
