Job Title: Installation Technician/ Construction Laborer

Will be working throughout West LA.

Job Description**

As an Installation Technician, you will assist with the installation of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), including site preparation, framing, roofing, and finishing work. You will operate and maintain construction equipment and tools, and ensure a safe and organized work environment. This role requires collaboration with team members and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of ADUs, including site preparation, framing, roofing, and finishing work.

Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools.

Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.

Perform general site clean-up and ensure a safe and organized work environment.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks on schedule.

Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor.

Essential Skills

Experience in construction or general labor (2-3 years).

Ability to operate basic construction tools and equipment.

Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.

Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a construction environment.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude.

Familiarity with hand and power tools.

Carpentry skills.

Understanding of blueprints.

Basic mechanical and electrical skills.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
