As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to reports, support staff and visitors with calm communication, and document activity using site technology. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.

Control access by monitoring entrances, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to approved check-in areas in accordance with site procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with clinical staff and/or local emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting hazards, unsecured doors, and unusual activity and reporting concerns per post orders.

Complete detailed reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision using approved channels.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
