As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access needs, and unusual activity with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Control access at gates, posts, and/or entry points by verifying credentials, monitoring delivery and vehicle traffic, and directing visitors to designated check-in areas.

Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as required.

Complete detailed security-related reports and logs, preserve observations for follow-up, and handle assigned firearms and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
