Acute Care Surgery Opportunity with UNC Rex in Raleigh, NC

North Carolina Surgery at Raleigh is actively seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Acute Care Surgeon to join their practice. This is a full-time position within a well-established, community-focused surgical practice providing high-quality care to adult patients across a broad range of general surgical needs.

Position Highlights

Full-time, outpatient/inpatient acute care surgery role

Rotating 12hr Shifts, 14 shifts per month

Work with a respected team

Access to the EPIC electronic medical record system

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery

Active North Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain)

BLS and ACLS certification

Experience preferred with interest in acute care procedures

Education Requirements:

? Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

? DEA;MD

? BLS

Professional Experience Requirements:

? Prefer prior hospitalist experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

? Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
