Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Data Management & Quality: Oversee data processing activities, ensuring data integrity, security, and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, engineers, and other specialists, while managing relationships and expectations with customers and stakeholders.

Technical Oversight: Support technical leads with the management of requirements.

Reporting & Communication: Prepare regular project status reports and present findings to senior management and other stakeholders, clearly translating complex data into understandable language.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement new technologies, and drive innovation within data processing operations.

Perform Scrum Master role for agile software development team.

Requirements

A bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

10 + years of proven experience in project management, specifically with data-related projects, and ideally within the relevant mission domain.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, leadership abilities, and proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (such as Agile).

Familiarity with data processing systems, data analysis techniques, and emerging data processing technologies

Excellent written communication, briefing, and presentation skills

Detail oriented

Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred

10+ years' industry experience with time managing Government Technical Programs

Previous proposal, Basis of Estimate (BOE), and/or negotiations experience

Subcontractor management

Scrum Master experience and/or certification

Active DoD Final SECRET clearance or higher

The pay range for this position is $128,000 - $169,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
