As a Plant Engineer, you will join a skilled, close-knit team at our Dell Power Plant, where innovation, reliability, and hands-on engineering come together to keep a natural-gas combined-cycle facility running at peak performance. Located in a rural setting with access to larger metro areas, this plant offers the best of both worlds - meaningful impact in power generation and a strong team culture. You'll support safe, dependable 24/7 operations through smart engineering, collaborative problem-solving, and leadership during projects and outages. This role primarily works a day schedule, with additional support during outages and critical operational events.

What You'll Do

Develop and manage maintenance and capital projects - from scope and budgeting to contractor oversight and commissioning.

Perform field troubleshooting, engineering analyses, and root cause investigations to eliminate repeat issues and improve plant operations.

Support DCS controls (Emerson Ovation and GE Mark VIe), Management of Change, compliance programs, and outage execution planning.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

At least 2 years of experience in power generation, combined-cycle, or heavy industrial plant operations.

Strong project management and technical problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and reliability.

Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, contractors, and OEM partners.
