Full Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager - Construction | Orange, CT

We are seeking a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager to take over for a long-tenured retiree and lead all accounting and office management functions. Primary Responsibilities:

Lead all accounting activities (full charge bookkeeping, construction accounting, payroll, and controls)

Manage office operations; work closely with estimators, project managers, and executive leadership.

Oversee QuickBooks and eventually helping them move to a construction accounting software

Provide guidance and direction to an assistant supporting AP and administration.

Experience Required:

Proven experience in accounting/bookkeeping/financial management

Construction accounting experience

Proficiency with QuickBooks strongly preferred.

Adaptable to upgrading outdated systems.

Requirements

Proven accounting/bookkeeping experience

Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Knowledge of construction accounting practices.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
