Walmart Connect is a leading ad tech platform, committed to delivering innovative solutions and ensuring the highest standards of compliance and integrity. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to drive and manage compliance testing and monitoring for our fast-growing U.S. retail media network. This role designs and executes a risk-based testing program focused on advertising compliance, data use, and ethical business practices across the campaign lifecycle. This candidate will also ensure ad enforcement by managing monitoring of ads after they go live to ensure they are compliant.
The highly qualified candidate brings deep experience in advertising controls, measurement and targeting oversight, and continuous monitoring, with the judgment to calibrate controls to business realities. You will partner cross-functionally with teams like Legal, Privacy, Ad Operations, Sales, Product, Data Science, Finance, and Internal Audit to validate control effectiveness, surface insights, and drive remediation that improves compliance outcomes and operational integrity.
Reporting into the Walmart Connect Director of Compliance and Ethics (US), the Senior Manager, Compliance will play a pivotal role in advertising controls, testing and monitoring, ensuring we meet regulatory requirements and maintain the trust of our partners and clients.
Key Duties & Responsibilities? ?
Design andmaintaina comprehensive, risk-based compliance testing and continuous monitoring program covering end-to-end advertising workflows, including audiencecreationand targeting, creative review and approvals, campaign trafficking and optimization, measurement and reporting, billing and revenue recognition touchpoints, and post-campaign analyses.
Manageannual testing plans, sampling methodologies, and testing scripts aligned to regulatory, self-regulatory, contractual, and platform-policy requirements.
Lead thematic testing of marketing claims substantiation and restricted categories (e.g., health and wellness, financial services, alcohol), disclosure and native ad labeling,testimonial/influencer compliance, environmental/social claims, and retail price and promotion representations.
Establish monitoring for brand safety, viewability, fraud/invalid traffic, and platform policy adherence using ad verification and QA tools; investigate exceptions, escalate issues, and recommend control enhancements.
Develop and track corrective action plans;validateremediation;maintainhigh-quality workpapers and evidence; prepare clear written reports and dashboards communicating testing results, root causes, business impact, and control maturity trends to senior leadership and relevant committees.
Coordinate withGlobal InternalAudit,Enterprise Risk ManagementandBusinessRisks and Controlsteams (as applicable), to align testing scopes, avoid duplication, and ensure effective second line of defense oversight.
Maintain current awareness of emerging laws, self-regulatory developments, platform policy changes, and industry best practices; translate regulatory change into updated controlobjectivesand test procedures.
Support investigations of control exceptions and potential misconductidentifiedthrough testing or monitoring; partner with Legal and HR as needed; contribute to training content to address control gaps and embed lessons learned.
Ensure effective andtimelyupdates and reporting to Director of Compliance, highlighting key issues and remediation plans.
Develop recommendations for product enhancementsand AI usearoundtesting and monitoring.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures and process documentation for Walmart Connecttesting and monitoring governance,where relevant to Compliance organization.

Preferred Qualifications
Education and work experience ?
Advanced degree preferred- such as Juris Doctorate or Master's degree in Businessor Enterprise RisksManagementand minimum3years' experiencein compliance, ethics,audit, testing and monitoring,legal, program management or related area OR6years' experiencein compliancetesting and monitoring,risk management , or control assuranceor related area with at least 1 year of supervisory experience or in a leadership role,andexperiencesupporting ad tech or digital mediaor marketing compliance in the US market.
Experience within the advertising tech, retail media network, retailer, or related industry.
Demonstratedexpertiseimplementing risk-based testing programs and continuous monitoring, including drafting test plans, sampling strategies, and workpapers, and communicating findings to senior stakeholders.
Deep understanding of advertising,FTC regulations, AI, advertising industrystandardsanddata privacy laws preferred.
Proventrack recordof developing and/or implementing successful compliance programs.
High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment tomaintainingconfidentiality and discretion.
3 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
Experience building and executing effective testing andmonitoringprograms
Retail media network experience or deep familiarity with retailer-first party data, closed-loop measurement, and commerce media monetization modelspreferred.
Experience designing testing for campaign QA, brand safety/fraud monitoring, and measurement/attribution validation in omnichannel retail media (onsite, offsite, in-store, email, CTV)preferred.
Priorcollaboration with Legal, Privacy, Security, Data Science, Ad Operations, and Sales teams in a second-line or assurance capacitypreferred.
Background in regulated or high-scrutiny categories (e.g., health, finance, alcohol) and claim substantiationpreferred.
Experience in corporate communications preferred.
Projectmanagement experience or certification preferred.
Experience supporting global markets.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
