Overview

Administrative and Documentation Specialist (VOPS-2026-24769):

Bowhead is looking for aAdministrative and Documentation Specialistjoin our team andto support a requirement on our NSWCDD V Operations contract.

Responsibilities

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

Provide Technical Writer Support for Department Leadership

Prepare Department PowerPoint presentations

Review Department Level reports

Review and provide recommendations for updating existing documentation for technical and/or editorial accuracy

Work with graphics team to develop and print department content

Coordinate and compile department wide data calls, including travel submissions for SES approval

Coordinate, maintain, and review Department Leadership Schedules

Manage Microsoft TEAMs site content and access lists

Communicate department organization charts, content, and messaging via associated Comms Channels via TEAMs, Outlook, SharePoint

This position is 100% on site at Dahlgren, VA.

Qualifications

Education - BA in English or Communications is a plus

Two plus (2+) years relevant experience

Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the SECRET level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
