The ADAS Virtual Verification and Validation group develops and applies state-of-the-art tools and methods, such as Vehicle-in-the-Loop (ViL), to validate ADAS features. Vehicle in the Loop is a testing platform that enables development and validation of ADAS features in a real vehicle with simulated sensor inputs. We strive to deliver ADAS features with quality and robustness to improve customer satisfaction. Our engineers support the latest ADAS features such as Pre-Collision Assist (PCA), Blue Cruise (BC) and System Initiated Lane Change (SILC).
What you'll do...
Lead ViL testing to support the development and sign-off of ADAS features.
Develop new VIL solutions for feature development and validation, combining simulation with traditional vehicle testing methods.
Develop and integrate camera, radar, and ultrasonic sensor stimulation and simulation tools to support testing of new and existing ADAS features.
Create virtual roads and scenarios for robust testing of ADAS features (Regulatory, Functional, Performance, Real World).
Closely coordinate with feature development engineers to support execution of design verification plans to ensure proper feature-level performance.
Support upgrades and enhancements to ADAS features by working closely with feature owners.
Support feature calibration studies to satisfy vehicle-level performance requirements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with technical specialists, product owners, developers, simulation, HIL, and vehicle test teams to establish tools and test procedures that improve efficiency of and enable new test cases for vehicle level testing.
