The Manufacturing Operational Technology Project Manager will lead and manage projects related to the implementation, integration, and optimization of IT/OT systems within manufacturing environments. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring that project goals are met in alignment with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, process control, and system integration, with a focus on optimizing manufacturing efficiency and ensuring high levels of system reliability and performance.
You will have an opportunity to:
Project Planning and Management:
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
Define project milestones and deliverables.
Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet project goals.
Team Coordination:
Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, IT professionals, and external vendors.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and accountability.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure that all project activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Conduct regular quality assurance checks and audits.
Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the project lifecycle.
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints.
Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands.
Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and vendors.
Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders and/or Steering Committee.
Address stakeholder concerns and feedback promptly and effectively.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement contingency plans as needed to address unforeseen challenges.
System Implementation and Integration:
Oversee the installation, configuration, and integration of OT systems.
Ensure that systems are implemented according to specifications and industry standards.
Coordinate with IT and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and IoT devices.
Process Improvement and Documentation:
Develop and implement best practices, standards, and methodologies for OT project management.
Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance operational performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the industry . A master's degree is a plus.
7-10 years with various manufacturing controls and digital systems (PLCs, OT, SCADA, MES, SAP, etc.).
At least 5-10 years of experience as a technical project manager or product owner in the smart manufacturing space.
Experience with, and understanding of Industrial Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) and SCADA.
Hands-on smart manufacturing and/or digital transformation project implementation experience is preferred.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
