JOB DESCRIPTION
Iron EagleX is seeking a front end-focused Full Stack Engineer to support our Software Development team on Ft Bragg, NC. In this role, you will design, develop, and manage robust software systems that seamlessly integrate front-end user interfaces with backend infrastructures. You will work across the full stack to create scalable and efficient solutions for modern applications to include supporting cutting-edge AI/ML processes. By partnering with product, analytics, and data engineering teams, you will build intuitive user interfaces and backend services that enable key functionalities, such as the processing of model-ready datasets, implementation of scalable storage solutions, and low-latency real-time data retrieval.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
We are seeking a front end-focused Full Stack Engineer with expertise in React to build and maintain user-friendly, scalable, and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with product designers, back-end engineers, and stakeholders to create seamless and engaging user experiences. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about modern web development, interactive design, and optimizing front-end performance.
JOB DUTIES (INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality React applications with a focus on performance and usability.
Collaborate with designers and back-end engineers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
Optimize front-end applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code using modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React best practices.
Implement and manage global state using tools like Redux, Zustand, or React Context API.
Work with Golang APIs and integrate third-party services into front-end applications.
Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and maintain development best practices.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on React.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Knowledge of modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or SASS/SCSS).
Experience with build tools and package managers (Webpack, Vite, pnpm, Yarn, npm).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Eventstores, and WebSockets for data fetching.
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) is a plus.
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and best practices for front-end development.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, GitLab, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Clearance: Current TS/SCI Clearance is required
Experience: 10+ years of related experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Role requirements: Work is onsite on Ft Bragg, NC
Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE:
Building complex React applications with a focus on modularity and maintainability.
Working with and building out component libraries with Radix-UI.
Using TanStack Query for asynchronous state management.
Validating and parsing schema with Zod.
Contributing to open-source projects or maintaining personal projects demonstrating React expertise.
Understanding UX/UI principles and collaborating effectively with design teams.

The likely salary range for this position is $136,850 - $185,150. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
