We're seeking a talented senior manager to lead a high-performing, experienced team developing cutting-edge digital banking products. This team specifically focuses on supporting the management of legal entities in digital banking platforms and assisting in the integration of these entity profiles with other Jack Henry products. The team is a back-end team in a modern, cloud-based tech stack. The ideal candidate brings industry knowledge, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage a team creating exciting new products at a high level.
This position can be based to work remotely, but candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Charlotte, NC; Lenexa, KS; Louisville, KY; or Springfield/Monett, MO. The salary range for this position is $125,000- $185,000 and will be determined based on location and experience level. Travel up to 10% for meetings and trainings may be required. All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.

What you'll be responsible for
Work with the Product team to help plan and lead the development of new software features and enhancements.
Ensure all software solutions and enhancements are fully tested, debugged, and meet quality standards prior to release to production.
Provide consistent leadership to each individual; set objectives; review performance, create career development plans, and address concerns.
Oversee activities related to application development and management, such as ensuring the functionality and health of application services, and building backend APIs to support the technical architecture of the front-end applications, user interfaces, and reporting engines.
Prepare for and participate in quarterly planning when needed.
Forecast and determine capitalization for multiple projects.
Ensure all software meets the security requirements for web application development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to have:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in back-end software engineering.
A minimum of 3 years of experience managing and/or supervising software engineering teams.
Experience in the banking, financial, fintech, or payments industry, or experience building products involving financial transactions.
Experience in an API or microservices environment.
What would be nice for you to have:
Bachelor's degree.
Experience programming in Golang.
Experience with Datadog or Honeycomb and debugging logs.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proven ability to mentor and coach engineers.
