Job DescriptionWIN Waste Innovations is looking for an Operations Manager who has the ability to manage all activities related to operations and development of the facility. They will be responsible for the safe, proper, and efficient operation and maintenance of the facility in accordance with company policies and standards, under the direction of the Plant Manager.Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate Maintenance activities to include but not be limited to installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, adjusting, and calibrating all plant equipment and instrumentation. Plan and conduct major outages; implement and direct effective PM program, lubrication plans. Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.Education and Experience Three years or more previous experience in comparable role in an administrative support or business support role is required. Bachelor's or Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent desirable Six years' experience in an incineration plant environment, with a minimum of five years in a supervisory role. For all Massachusetts facility's, a 2nd Class Engineers license is required and the applicant must be able to demonstrate the skills, experience and knowledge to sit for a 1st Class Engineers license.Work Environment:Listed below are key points regarding environmental demands and work environment of the job. Noise in work environmentPhysical Demand: Stand Sit for prolonged periods of time Walk Handle tools, equipment, fine motor skills Reach with hands and arms Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet Stoop, kneel, bend, push, pull, crawl Ascend and descend stairs and stationary vertical ladders as part of normal work activity and emergency egress situations Lift 50 lbs.
