Job Title: 2pm Put Away Job Description

Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. As a 2pm Put Away associate, you will be responsible for handling merchandise efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely distribution within our facilities.

Responsibilities

Generate manifests to dispatch and confirm customer and stock orders.

Interpret warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to designated areas.

Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part and quantity.

Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a pre-determined sequence.

Prepare products for distribution within facilities.

Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on palettes, shelves, or conveyors to send to packing stations or the shipping department.

Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within established guidelines.

Arrange stock parts in a specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

Create and enter records for the manifest on the warehouse computer system.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in warehouse operations, including material handling, picking, packing, and shipping.

Basic knowledge of using an RF scanner.

Fluent in English: able to read, write, and speak effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

0-6 months of warehouse experience preferred, though not required.

No certification required initially, with the opportunity to certify on CROWN trucks upon permanent hire.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced warehouse with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts navigate safely. It is a non-climate-controlled setting, and no cellphones or electronics are permitted within the warehouse. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
