CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking anElectric DistributionEngineer Ito join ourElectric Distribution Teamat aclient siteinHopedale, MA.In this entry - level role, you'll gain hands - on experience supporting the planning, design, and implementation of electric distribution projects-while learning from experienced professionals and building a strong foundation for your engineering career.

What You'll Do:

Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for electric distribution infrastructure including overhead and underground systems

Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates for grid resiliency and energy transition projects

Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for optimizing energy delivery

Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of electric distribution systems

What You Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required

No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred

Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team

Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus

Salary Range:

$70,000 - $75,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
