Job Description
AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a talented construction Sr. Scheduler to join our team of professionals in Chicago, IL.
Job duties:
Skilled in the use of company cornerstone systems and able to represent cost data formats necessary to control the project.
Understands financial terminology and measures and recognizes the financial impact of various project actions.
Participates in analyzing and using financial data to identify key project issues.
May assist in leading junior staff through assignment tasks.
Participates in tracking action items.
Able to use drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data.
Evaluates manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations including preparation of variance analysis.
Compares actual cost to funding limitations. Prepares expenditure forecasts to identify critical points in project funding.
Understands the manner in which profits on projects are budgeted and the extent to which the budget value is achieved.
Scope control and change management, tracking systems to ensure project management is alerted to change orders.
Creates and assists with cost/schedule baseline budgets.
Familiar with basic cost/schedule integration and basic critical path analysis and other rescheduling concepts.
Prepares and facilitates accurate construction schedules.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BS Engineering/Construction Project Management, Finance or related curriculum and 6 years of experience in the field of construction scheduling and project controls or AA/AS and 8 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Commercial construction experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in management of construction related scheduling.
Primavera P6 experience.
Experience working on mega-construction projects as a Scheduler.
Experience analyzing schedule variances.
Airport, datacenter, stadium construction experience is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $98525.64 to $182272.43.
