A company in West Hollywood is seeking 2-3 experienced Staff Accountants for a high-urgency project driven by ongoing audits. This is a highly active environment requiring strong multitasking skills as you will support our accounting team with critical tasks while audits are underway. This role is onsite on Monday - Thursday and remote on Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on support during audits, including information gathering and responding to auditor data requests.

Perform detailed analysis and reconciliations involving AR/AP, general ledger, and bank accounts.

Run financial reports, pull GLs, and support ongoing month-end close processes.

Assist with audit document preparation and overall accounting operations as assigned.

Requirements:

Previous professional audit experience is required.

Strong understanding of AR/AP, general ledger accounting, and bank reconciliations.

Proficiency extracting data, running reports, and communicating findings.

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Project Details:

This is a 6-week position with potential to extend. Hours are Monday - Thursday onsite and remote on Friday from 9:30 - 6PM. Pay is based on experience, between $30-35/hr.

Requirements - Proven experience with audits and related accounting functions.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Demonstrated ability to extract financial data, run reports, and communicate results effectively.

Proficiency in managing corporate and sales tax processes.

Expertise in journal entries and maintaining general ledger accuracy.

Exceptional multitasking skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic workplace.

Strong analytical abilities for identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.

Familiarity with corporate tax returns and related compliance processes.
