The National Retail Partners- Chicago team was formed in1996. Since its formation, the team has become recognized as a leader withinboth CBRE and the industry, having sold over 1,400 properties with grossconsideration in excess of $20 billion. Property @types includepower, community and neighborhood shopping centers, regional malls, specialtycenters and unanchored strip centers in primary, secondary and tertiary marketsnationally with and emphasis on the Midwest.
NRP - Chicago is seeking a financial analyst that will bean integral part of this team and will report directly to the teams partners,that specialize in primary and institutional grade multi-tenant retailcenters. This person will be involved in many aspects of theunderwriting and marketing process and obtain/maintain key market informationthat is crucial to the success of our business. It is important thatthis person be able to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a high-energyenvironment. Greater details on various responsibilities are listedbelow:
What You'll Do:
FINANCIAL UNDERWRITING
Performcomplex financial analyses including cash flow projections, valuation models,and sensitivity analyses
Buildcustomized Argus and Excel models for Broker Opinion of Value assignments.
Scrubdetailed Argus models for nationwide offering memorandums.
Evaluatedue diligence materials including leases, financial statements and otherdocuments related to the operation of commercial real estate assets.
Workclosely with financial analysts of clients to coordinate closing process andall relevant financial documentation between buyers and sellers.
Gatherand evaluate economic, demographic and real estate market data for input intoproject specific deliverables
MARKETING
Prepareproposals and offering materials for assignments and pursuits utilizingeffective work planning.
Assistwith preparation of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits.
Collaboratewith CBRE's marketing department and 3 rd parties to buildmaterials for offerings and pitches.
Pursuenew prospects via team's proprietary Salesforce software.
Helporganize team processes and large work volume.
Researchdemographics, market trends, and additional market information as needed bydeal.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor'sDegree with exceptional academic credentials
0-2years of work experience in Finance or Commercial Real Estate
Excellentwritten and oral communication skills
Abilityto analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate intostrategic deliverables
Abilityto work independently and within a team on a wide variety of projects
Abilityto work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
Comfortwith handling multiple projects at once and ability to move quickly betweendeals
Experiencevaluing multiple @types of commercial real estate including Office, Industrial,Retail, Land
Strongcomputer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software
Proficiencywith Argus and InDesign is a plus but may not be required for the rightcandidate

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Finance Analyst position is $65,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Finance Analyst position is $75,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
