Medical Scheduler

Description

Professionally answer and return all incoming calls from new patients, delivering exceptional customer service.

Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple incoming calls throughout the day.

Enter and process all new patient referrals accurately and in a timely manner.

Support referral and authorization workflows as needed.

Send new patient welcome emails, including required intake paperwork and instructions.

Collect and verify patient insurance information prior to scheduled appointments.

Triage incoming calls from the work queue and route them appropriately.

Provide clear instructions to patients to ensure they are fully prepared for exams, procedures, and visits.

Confirm patient appointments and follow up on any scheduling needs.

Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts as they arise.

Time management skills keeping pace with daily tasks and working out of the ques

Experience in scheduling and tracking patient information/appointments and maintaining supplies

This is a Contract position based out of Newark, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
