We are looking for an experienced Medical Administrator to join our team in Walnut Creek, California. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the healthcare industry by managing patient appointments, registrations, and insurance verifications in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of medical terminology.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and manage a high volume of patient appointments with accuracy and efficiency.

Handle patient registration and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.

Verify medical insurance information and address any discrepancies.

Coordinate and confirm patient appointments, providing reminders as needed.

Maintain and update electronic medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Assist with patient inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

Monitor appointment schedules to maximize operational efficiency.

Provide administrative support to the medical team as necessary.

Uphold the confidentiality and accuracy of patient information at all times.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role.

Proficient knowledge of basic medical terminology and medical insurance processes.

Hands-on experience with electronic medical record systems.

Strong skills in scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting.

Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.

Attention to detail and adherence to data accuracy standards.
