Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves presenting and selling our products to both current and potential customers while maintaining and developing strong relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new customer accounts, preparing quotes, processing purchase orders, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Present and sell company products to current and potential customers.

Establish new customer accounts and obtain customer profiles.

Prepare quotes, send them, and maintain related files.

Process customer purchase orders efficiently.

Provide drawings and other forms of product media to assist customers.

Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge.

Generate new pricing utilizing price method tools.

Enter new product part numbers, pricing, and delivery details accurately.

Exercise independent discretion and judgment on significant matters.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Experience with purchase orders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Strong knowledge of customer service processes and operation methods.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple job functions simultaneously.

Capability to work independently and establish priorities with minimal supervision.

Good organizational skills.

Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated and eager to learn and expand knowledge.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Work Environment

The work environment is an open-pit style with plenty of parking available. The location features a nice kitchen and furnishings, providing a comfortable workspace. Our office operates in a campus-style setting, offering an excellent atmosphere for collaboration and productivity.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
