Job Title: Event Planner (Entry-Level)

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Schedule: 20 hours per week (Flexible Schedule Required)

Location: North Dallas, near Downtown

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Event Planner to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in event coordination and planning. You will support the planning and execution of events from concept to completion while ensuring a positive and seamless experience for clients and attendees.

This position requires flexibility, as hours may vary depending on event schedules, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with planning, organizing, and executing events of various sizes

Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers

Help manage event budgets and track expenses

Support event setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination

Communicate with clients to understand event goals and expectations

Maintain event timelines and ensure deadlines are met

Assist with marketing and promotion of events when needed

Provide administrative support related to event logistics

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Previous internship, volunteer, or event experience is a plus but not required

Schedule & Compensation

$25 per hour

20 hours per week

Flexible schedule required (availability for evenings and weekends as needed)
