Forklift/Warehouse Worker - $17.50/hr | Contract | Onsite

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker for a contract assignment with a well-established manufacturing partner. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and contributing to efficient warehouse operations.

Location: Onsite

Pay Rate: $17.50hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Assignment Type: Temp

Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED

Assessment Requirement: Forklift

Job Summary

The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining materials, equipment, and supplies within a warehouse or stockroom environment. This position requires accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and count stock items; record data manually or using a computer system

Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves or in designated storage locations

Verify inventory counts by comparing physical stock to system records; investigate discrepancies

Store items in an organized and accessible manner across warehouse and storage areas

Mark stock items using tags, stamps, labeling tools, or electronic devices

Clean and maintain storage areas, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations

Track usage, damage, and handling of stock; report issues as needed

Inspect items for defects, wear, or damage and notify supervisors of concerns

Assist or provide direction to other warehouse and stockroom team members

Required Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

Detail-oriented team player

Knowledge of warehouse equipment, safety procedures, and handling protocols

Understanding of policies related to secure handling of materials, data, and property

Experience

2-4 years of warehouse, material handling, or related work experience required

Previous job titles may include Material Handler , Warehouse Associate, or similar

Pay Details: $17.50 per hour
